RED TEAM
A red team is an independent group that challenges an organization to improve its effectiveness. The United States intelligence community (military and civilian) has red teams that explore alternative futures and subsequently create detailed reports accordingly.
The Red Team Concept needs to challenge the process of planning and making decisions by applying critical thinking from the tactical to strategic level. Senior leadership then needs to transition the Red Team Concept from paper into reality.
